Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Al-Shoha is American boarded consultant physician with over 15 years of clinical experience. Associate Professor Dr Al-Shoha specializes in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Prior to joining American Hospital Dubai, Associate Professor Dr Al-Shoha worked for 11 years at Summa Health, one of the largest leading healthcare systems in Northeast Ohio. During his time there, he had several contributions, awards, publications and presentations. In his role as a vice chair of the Endocrinology section at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and his academic rank as an associate professor, Associate Professor Dr. Al-Shoha was actively involved in medical education of students and residents at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Summa Health. He earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and technology in 2002 after which he completed his internal medicine residency followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone and Mineral disorders at Henry Ford Hospital. Associate Professor Dr Al-Shoha is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Endocrinology and an active member in several medical societies.
