Walid Karaoui

Dr. Walid Karaoui is a Lebanese-trained specialist Gastroenterologist. He received his Medical Doctor degree from the American University of Beirut, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and a three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Dr. Karaoui is the recipient of the 2018 Munir Shamma’a Gastroenterology Fellowship Award for excellence. He has been practicing for the past four years in his private clinic and several hospitals in Lebanon. Dr. Karaoui has several peer-reviewed publications and delivered national presentations and international posters in major gastroenterology meetings. His work experience includes: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Functional GI Disorders, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Liver Diseases, Colon Cancer Prevention, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Peptic Ulcer Disease.
