Samina Mahfuz Rahman

Dr. Samina Rahman is a Canadian board-certified Family Medicine Consultant. She completed her Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Manitoba, Canada and received her Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (C.C.F.P) in the year 2008 and continued to pursue her passion in the field of Family Medicine and she further obtained her Fellowship from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (F.C.F.P) in the year 2019. She is a compassionate and community-oriented Family Physician with many years of experience in Canada and the Middle East.

She is passionate about preventative medicine and managing acute and chronic medical diseases. She attends to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Manages acute gastroenteritis, urinary infections, skin disorders, allergic reactions, asthma, and upper and lower respiratory infections. Attends to women with gynecological and breast health issues. Performs minor surgical procedures in the clinic. Educates patients regarding the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, elevated cholesterol, PCOS, and thyroid disorders. Performs periodic screenings and health examinations.
