Omendra Narayan

Associate Professor Dr. Omi (Omendra) Narayan is a Consultant Paediatrician and Pediatric Pulmonologist who joined American Hospital in Dubai. His previous practice was based in UK National Health Service (NHS) at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, where he worked as a Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician (Paediatric Pulmonologist). He was also an Associate Dean and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Manchester Medical School, University of Manchester. Associate Professor Dr. Narayan is UK board certified with dual CCT in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. He has worked in several of the UK’s premier pediatric pulmonology units and was working in NHS for last 16 years. At Manchester Children's Hospital, he led the bronchoscopy, sleep, and long-term ventilation services along with all aspects of Pediatric pulmonology. He qualified in 2002 and did his Pediatric specialist rotation in London, UK including Evelina Children’s and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He did his subspecialty training in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, before joining Manchester Children’s as a Consultant.
