Dr. Ahmed Abdelaziz has over 18 years’ experience as a Consultant Pediatric Anesthetist and Pediatric Intensivist. He completed his training in the UK (Mersey Deanery) and advanced training in Pediatric Anesthesia and Pediatric Intensive Care at Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital, becoming a Consultant since 2006. He is recognized as an international expert in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and the use of ultrasound in anesthesia. His area of interest is education and the management of severe pediatric head trauma. He is the course director for The James Cook Ultrasound Course UK, a senior lecturer at East Anglia University, and has many publications contributing to his field.
