Zahraa El Wahed

Dr. Zahraa El Wahed is a UK board certified Family Medicine Physician. She has worked as a Family Medicine Consultant in highly rated practices in Glasgow and London, UK. She has a wealth of experience in various hospital specialties during her time working, ranging from medical to surgical specialties, acute medicine, women’s and men’s health alongside child and mental health, which she has incorporated within her daily clinical work in Family Medicine. She studied at the University of Dundee and completed her Family Medicine training in Glasgow, UK and received several awards for her study and work during this time. She has a specialist interest in chronic long-term disease management, particularly in Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Gastrointestinal disease, Geriatrics, Screening and Preventative medicine. As well as her clinical work, she also has a particular interest in medical education, where she has taught medical students at King’s College London and University of Glasgow alongside quality improvement and has undertaken several leadership roles. She is passionate about creating a strong doctor-patient relationship while practicing holistically and providing effective clinical management.
