Sarah A. Francis

A seasoned Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. Sarah Francis has over 15 years of experience in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. She has special interests in Ambulatory gynecology, Minimal invasive surgery, Obstetrics, and Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology.

Dr. Francis received her Bachelor’s degree (MBCHB) from The College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) in Sierra Leone, and completed her postgraduate training as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist (MRCOG) from the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, UK. She furthered her studies to obtain a Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Francis has been instrumental in identifying service needs and introducing therapeutic hysteroscopy procedures in Ambulatory Gynecology Care at Lancashire Teaching Hospital Trust (LTHTr) in Preston, UK. While at LTHTr, she served as a Trustee member and also completed a Consultant Leadership Development Program. She later worked across hospitals in the West Midlands & North West of England, including: Blackpool Victoria Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, UK with varied service and demands that helped her acquire a wealth of experience and skills prior to joining American Hospital Dubai.
