Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The intensive care unit (ICU) is the place to treat a critically ill patients suffering from life-threatening medical and surgical conditions. Equipped with highly advanced equipment and staffed by western qualified and trained medical and surgical consultants, our intensive care unit serves as a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) , surgical intensive care unit (SICU), and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).

Our intensive care unit with its highly qualified staff is always ready to serve critically ill patients with the latest management that includes, Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) , Mechanical ventilation, High flow oxygen, Noninvasive mechanical ventilation, Hemodialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), bedside EEG, Bedside bronchoscopy, ultrasound-guided complex procedures, bedside Tracheostomy and all other types of necessary treatments.

With one nurse for each patient in the intensive care unit, our highly trained nursing staff, and respiratory therapists, provide personalized nursing care for each patient in our unit. They are always ready to assist our doctors to keep up with the American recommended standard of care.

Our multidisciplinary daily rounds that include a clinical pharmacist, nutritionist, physical therapist, nursing staff, respiratory therapists and wound care specialists insures a comprehensive approach to each individual patient in order to respond to all their needs and address their goals.
