Nizar Natout

Dr. Nizar Natout is a Canadian board-certified consultant orthopedic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in the management of Adult Spine Surgery. He joined the residency program, the Division of Orthopedic Surgery at the American University of Beirut-medical center (AUB-MC), and then continued his training at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Toronto (Canada), where he did a full residency with a fellowship in spine surgery. He then returned to Lebanon, where he was appointed as an Associate Orthopedic Surgeon with the Division of Orthopedic Surgery at AUB-MC and started his private practice. In 2009, he joined Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC) in Beirut-Lebanon as a Consultant Orthopedic and Spine Surgeon, where he established the Endoscopic Spine Surgery program. Before joining American Hospital Dubai as a Consultant Orthopedics Spine Surgeon, Dr. Natout joined Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC)-Dubai as Director of Orthopedic Surgery and Consultant Orthopedic and Spine Surgeon.

He is specialized in the treatment of Adult Degenerative Spinal disorders and is well known for his interest in mini-invasive Spine Surgery (MISS). Endoscopic Spine Surgery is his subspecialty; he has done more than 500 cases, given lectures, and been an invited speaker in many scientific international and regional meetings.

In addition, he has wide experience in the management and surgical treatment of all types of fractures, dislocations, and joint trauma.
