Rida Abeer

Rida Abeer is a licensed Clinical Dietitian at American Hospital Dubai, with over four years of experience in tertiary care hospitals. She provides personalized nutrition assessments to help patients achieve individual health and nutrition goals.  Ms. Rida specializes in bariatric/weight-loss surgery nutrition (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric balloon), obesity and weight management, cardiovascular diseases, and critical care nutrition.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Sharjah, UAE and went onto pursue her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Roehampton University, London, UK.  She furthered her interest in bariatrics and critical care nutrition by obtaining the following certifications:  Bariatric Care Specialist (BCS), Surgical Review Corporation USA, - Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC), American Association of Bariatric Counselors, - Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), NBNSC by ASPEN. Ms. Rida also is an International Affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, USA.
