Samira Hassan

Dr. Samira Hassan is a UK Board certified Family Medicine Consultant who has over 11 years’ experience of working in the NHS. She is an experienced, patient-centered doctor who offers holistic, evidence-based care in line with current guidelines. Dr Hassan graduated from Cardiff University School of Medicine and had undertaken her specialty training in Leicester, England. She has been awarded the CCT and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). Her specialist interests include Mental Health, Lifestyle medicine and Women’s health and has received the DRCOG award from the Royal college of Obstetrics and Gynecology. During her training, she gained extensive experience in various specialties including Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Internal medicine, Respiratory, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery and Emergency care. She has since worked as a Family medicine consultant providing care in all areas of physical and mental health including chronic disease management, as well as working in Urgent care, Telemedicine, and private healthcare. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Hassan has taken a role in teaching medical students and Family medicine trainees. Dr Hassan is passionate about empowering and educating her patients about their health. She has been involved in several local and national public health campaigns with the Department of Health, UK. In addition to diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical conditions, Dr Hassan is keen on promoting preventative health care, providing personalized counselling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. Dr Hassan values her patients as individuals, focusing on the person, providing care that is rooted in compassion and striving for clinical excellence.
