Professor Dr. Dolati is a board-certified neurosurgeon with twenty-six years of experience in Brain and Spinal surgery including surgery of 200-300 major brain and spine cases per year and management of over 30,000 outpatient cases at the university and private clinics and hospitals.

After serving many years as an assistant professor in the university, Prof. Dr. Dolati Completed multiple clinical fellowships in a different area of neurosurgery including Neurotrauma and ICU, Complex Spine Surgery, Interventional Neuroradiology/Endovascular Neurosurgery, Cerebrovascular microsurgery, Image-Guided neurosurgery/Neuronavigation in brain tumor surgery, and combined Endovascular Neurosurgery/Cerebrovascular microsurgery.

After finishing his fellowship journey, he served as an attending neurosurgeon in VA west Roxbury hospital at Boston University. He joined Zulekha and Emirates Specialty Hospitals last year and recently joined American Hospital Dubai.

Prof. Dr. Dolati has a special interest in operative (open) and Endovascular treatment of cerebrovascular diseases such as aneurysms, arterio-venous malformations (AVM), stroke, and carotid artery diseases.

Besides his clinical practice, Prof. Dr. Dolati enjoys teaching and clinical researches. He has published over 20 papers in major neurosurgery journals.
