Dr. Tarik Saddik is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon with a wide experience in general ophthalmology and he specialized in medical retina, diabetic eye disease and retinal vascular diseases with a broad experience in Ireland, UK, and UAE. He has graduated from medical college in Libya and subsequently achieved the fellowship of royal college of surgeon, ophthalmology, Dublin, Ireland (FRCSI) 2003. He received his basic and higher ophthalmic training in both Manchester royal eye hospital, UK and the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear hospital, Dublin, Ireland where he undertook two medical retina fellowships. He has worked at a consultant level in both UK and Ireland and his 25 years working experience also include cataract surgery, medical and surgical retinal diseases including different retinal laser procedures. He has given lectures at national and international meetings. He is a member of several professional bodies including the Irish College of Ophthalmologists Dr Tarik Saddik speaks both Arabic and English fluently.
