24 hours. Please note that the test must be taken within the period required by your destination. American Hospital will not be responsible if the test results are not released in time for travel.

You will be notified of your PCR screen test result via SMS, while a detailed result report will be sent to you via Email.

Yes, you can. Call us at +971 43775500 to request for the PCR screen test at your preferred settings (be it at home or in office). Our staff will arrange a visit depending upon the availability of health workers. This facility is available within Dubai only.

Charges for PCR Test at American Hospital Dubai are as follows:

  • Walk-in Patients AED 150 per person
  • Emirates Passengers AED 150 per person

To take advantage of these special rates, passengers must be able to present:

  • A valid ticket or boarding pass
  • Emirates ID or passport copy

Please be noted that the test result is valid for 30 days only; therefore, the departure must be made within the specified time period.

You can get tested for COVID-19 at any of the DHA-integrated laboratories. American Hospital Dubai is one of them offering a “gold-standard” PCR Test service at all of its sites including Al Barsha Clinic, Al Khawaneej Clinic, and Dubai Media City Clinic.

American Hospital Dubai is a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) - designated healthcare service provider, which means that we are authorized to conduct COVID-19 PCR Test and issue certificates that are valid everywhere you travel.

A COVID-19 PCR Test is performed for the diagnosis of COVID-19 in individuals who present symptoms of COVID-19 or are exposed to patients infected with CoronaVirus.
