Total Joint Replacement Centre

Joints Replacement Centre

American Hospital Dubai's Total Joint Replacement Centre is the first in the Middle East to provide the latest robotic facilities, technology-backed expertise, and robotically trained surgeons.
We have the most extensive patient base from the Middle East and beyond for any regional private hospital, including Primary and Complex Revision Surgery.

Robot-Assisted Joint Replacement System offers significantly more advantages than the computer-assisted navigation joint replacement system used by many healthcare providers in the UAE. Our system's range of motion analysis, enhanced bone-cutting precision and reduced navigation time results in unprecedented accuracy, precision, and faster recovery.

Custom-made Joint Replacement Program at the American Hospital Dubai is one of few regional centers offering custom-made Total Knee Replacement and Total Hip Replacement to fit each patient's needs with guaranteed best outcomes.

We perform a wide range of surgeries that include but are not limited to:

Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA): Total knee replacement involves removing and replacing the whole diseased or damaged joint with an implant. It replaces the medial and lateral compartments (inside of the knee) and patellofemoral (front of the knee around the kneecap) areas.

Partial Knee Arthroplasty (UKA): Partial knee replacement involves removing and replacing only the damaged or worn-out part of the knee joint. It is indicated for patients diagnosed with partial osteoarthritis. It replaces only the medial or lateral knee area as an alternative to Total Knee Replacement.

Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA): It involves replacing the damaged articular surfaces of the hip joint with prosthetics. It can be cementless or cemented, depending on the quality of the hip bones.

Total Hip Replacement is also done as Reconstructive Hip Surgery for broken hips or non-union of treated fractures.

Total Shoulder Arthroplasty (TSA): It involves replacing the damaged articular surfaces of the shoulder joint due to osteoarthritis with Reversed Shoulder Prosthesis, giving the individual an excellent range of motion and stability.
