The Pediatric department at the American Hospital Dubai provides a wide range of pediatric services and facilities to meet the unique needs of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents up to 18 years of age.

Internationally trained and accredited Consultant Pediatricians provide family-centered, child-friendly clinical care supported by excellent laboratory and diagnostic imaging facilities using state-of-the-art technology. American Hospital Dubai implements and operates to the highest standards of infection control and hygiene and thus provides a safe environment for patient visits.

We offer 24 x 7 services led by ER Consultant during the day time and input from Consultant Pediatricians if needed. Night time is covered by in-house dedicated Specialist Pediatricians.

Level III (tertiary care) unit for newborn babies born at 23 weeks of gestation and onwards along with Special care baby unit (SCBU), a step down unit from NICU.

24 x 7 service run by a team led by dedicated Consultant neonatologists along with Specialists Pediatricians.

which is located in the maternity ward to enhance the bonding with the mother and to promote breast feeding.

Children with neuromuscular disorders and developmental delay requires an experienced multidisciplinary team to follow up on their development and progress as they grow.

After the initial injury or diagnosis is established, the children and their families are left with the challenges that come next as the children’s bodies and their physiologies are now different. The care team’s commitment is to provide the best care, treatments, follow up and patient/parent education to ensure that the child thrives and achieves the highest level possible for their individual ability.
