Dr. Hua Carolyn Yang is a dual board certified nuclear medicine radiologist with American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC). She did her basic medical training in Beijing Medical University, China. In 2005, she completed her nuclear medicine residency training with Yale University New Haven Medical Center, Connecticut, USA. Furthermore, she completed her special fellow training of PET/CT in the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. In 2013, she was honored as Fellow of American College of Nuclear Medicine by the society.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Yang worked as attending nuclear medicine radiologist at New York Methodist Hospital from 2011 to 2013. She also worked as locum attending nuclear medicine radiologist at Philadelphia VA Medical Center and Texas Audie Murphy VA Hospital in USA and Staff Physician at The IMA group, Pennsylvania, USA.
Dr. Yang is practicing in nuclear cardiology, general nuclear medicine SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radioisotope treatment, particularly with radioiodine-131 (I-131) ablation therapy for thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism disease.
