Dr. Maroun El Khoury completed his basic medical training from Saint Joseph University School of Medicine Beirut, Lebanon in 1999. He completed his US Board Certification in Internal Medicine (2003) and both Oncology & Hematology in 2006. Prior to joining us, Dr. El Khoury was working since July, 2006 as an Attending Physician Hematology/Oncology at the Great River Hematology and Oncology Iowa USA. He also served as Medical Director & Chief of Medicine at the same place and co-directed the hospice and palliative care program. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Faraz Khan completed his basic medical training in 1997 from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He is triple US Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2002), Medical Oncology (2005) and Hematology (2005). Prior to joining us, since 2005, Dr. Khan worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist/Hematologist at PEI Cancer Treatment Center, Charlottetown, PEI, Canada, where he also served as a primary investigator for the clinical trials in Hematologic diseases. He was a member of Association of Hemophilia Clinic Directors of Canada and directed the PEI Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorder Clinic.
With over ten years of experience in the Pediatrics field, Dr. Abdul Hafez Siddiqui is a Consultant and Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist. With a degree from the Dow Medical College in Pakistan and certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Siddiqui is one of the most respected physicians in his field.
Throughout his illustrious medical career, Dr. Siddiqui has worked in some of the most notable hospitals and medical centers in the world, such as the University of South Alabama, the Hemophilia Treatment Centre in Mobile, Alabama, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in Illinois. In addition, Dr. Siddiqui has received prestigious accolades that include the “Best Lecture of the Year” award from the University of South Alabama in 2013 as well as the Children Hospital of Michigan’s “Wolf Zuelzer Fellow Research Award” in 2010. His professional path has lead him to American Hospital Dubai’s Pediatric Department’s where he is considered to be one of the most trusted physicians today.
In parallel with his work at the American Hospital Dubai, Dr. Siddiqui is a frequent keynote speaker at international medical lectures and a roundtable conferences, tackling medical conditions such as Phoechromocytoma, Pediatric Kidney Tumors and Hemolytic Anemia, as well as an advisor for pediatric residents, a mentor, and a published medical researcher.
