Dr. Maroun El Khoury completed his basic medical training from Saint Joseph University School of Medicine Beirut, Lebanon in 1999. He completed his US Board Certification in Internal Medicine (2003) and both Oncology & Hematology in 2006. Prior to joining us, Dr. El Khoury was working since July, 2006 as an Attending Physician Hematology/Oncology at the Great River Hematology and Oncology Iowa USA. He also served as Medical Director & Chief of Medicine at the same place and co-directed the hospice and palliative care program. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Faraz Khan completed his basic medical training in 1997 from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He is triple US Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2002), Medical Oncology (2005) and Hematology (2005). Prior to joining us, since 2005, Dr. Khan worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist/Hematologist at PEI Cancer Treatment Center, Charlottetown, PEI, Canada, where he also served as a primary investigator for the clinical trials in Hematologic diseases. He was a member of Association of Hemophilia Clinic Directors of Canada and directed the PEI Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorder Clinic.

With over ten years of experience in the Pediatrics field, Dr. Abdul Hafez Siddiqui is a Consultant and Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist. With a degree from the Dow Medical College in Pakistan and certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Siddiqui is one of the most respected physicians in his field.

Throughout his illustrious medical career, Dr. Siddiqui has worked in some of the most notable hospitals and medical centers in the world, such as the University of South Alabama, the Hemophilia Treatment Centre in Mobile, Alabama, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in Illinois. In addition, Dr. Siddiqui has received prestigious accolades that include the “Best Lecture of the Year” award from the University of South Alabama in 2013 as well as the Children Hospital of Michigan’s “Wolf Zuelzer Fellow Research Award” in 2010. His professional path has lead him to American Hospital Dubai’s Pediatric Department’s where he is considered to be one of the most trusted physicians today.

In parallel with his work at the American Hospital Dubai, Dr. Siddiqui is a frequent keynote speaker at international medical lectures and a roundtable conferences, tackling medical conditions such as Phoechromocytoma, Pediatric Kidney Tumors and Hemolytic Anemia, as well as an advisor for pediatric residents, a mentor, and a published medical researcher.

Dr Ali is a Consultant Surgeon expert in General, Minimally Invasive and Thoracic Surgery. He Board Certified Fellow of American and Royal Australian College of Surgeons with Fellowship of Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. Dr Ali holds Tier 1 DHA, DHCC and DHA consultant License. Dr Ali specializes in complex General Surgery, Thoracic (Lung) Surgery , Bariatric (Weight Loss surgery ), Oncology (Cancer) and upper Gastrointestinal ( Stomach & Esophageal) Surgery. Dr Ali has over 15 years of extensive experience in General, upper GI (Stomach & Esophageal) surgery and general thoracic (Lung & Thyroid, Tracheal, Thymus) and General surgery from the USA, Australia and New Zealand and from one the busiest surgery programmes in the USA in Harvard Medical School Brigham and Woman Hospital Surgery department where over 3,000 cases are performed each year. Dr. Al Dameh received his basic medical degree from University of Otago in New Zealand. He completed his academic degrees and FRACS training and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australians and New Zealand College in Thoracic and Surgical Oncology and Advanced Fellowship from Harvard Medical School in General and Minimally Invasive Thoracic, & Foregut Oncological Surgery. Dr Al Dameh is also formally trained in robotic surgery at the Harvard Medical School Brigham and woman hospital for major thoracic and upper GI surgeries. Dr. Al Dameh has extensive expertise in complex Thoracic, upper GI and visceral Oncological surgery, Laparoscopic General and bariatric surgery for obesity , Melanoma , adrenal and Breast surgery, with specific interest in in early detection and screening of cancer and use of minimally invasive techniques esophageal cancer surgeries. Dr. Al Dameh performs all general and minimal access approach surgeries on regular basis. Dr. Al Dameh enjoys teaching medical students. He was one of the training supervisors for the surgery trainees at University of Auckland and Harvard Medical School and UAE University in Al Ain,. His main teaching interest is Clinical surgery and Applied Surgical Anatomy. In April 2019 Dr Ali was awarded the Dubai Health Care city distinguished Physician award for his contributions in complex cancer surgery performed in Dubai and the UAE.
