Dr. Hua Carolyn Yang is a dual board certified nuclear medicine radiologist with American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC). She did her basic medical training in Beijing Medical University, China. In 2005, she completed her nuclear medicine residency training with Yale University New Haven Medical Center, Connecticut, USA. Furthermore, she completed her special fellow training of PET/CT in the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. In 2013, she was honored as Fellow of American College of Nuclear Medicine by the society.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Yang worked as attending nuclear medicine radiologist at New York Methodist Hospital from 2011 to 2013. She also worked as locum attending nuclear medicine radiologist at Philadelphia VA Medical Center and Texas Audie Murphy VA Hospital in USA and Staff Physician at The IMA group, Pennsylvania, USA.
Dr. Yang is practicing in nuclear cardiology, general nuclear medicine SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radioisotope treatment, particularly with radioiodine-131 (I-131) ablation therapy for thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism disease.
Dr. Katikeya Kantawala is US Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology (2011). He completed his Fellowship in PET-CT / Nuclear Medicine in 2008, Abdominal Radiology in 2009 and Pediatric Radiology in 2011.
Dr. Kantawala did his basic medical training from the University of Mumbai in 1997. He completed his Diploma in Medical Radio-diagnosis (DMRD) from the University of Mumbai, India in 2002. He then acquired his Doctorate of Medicine (Radiology) from the University of Seychelles in 2005. Prior to joining the American Hospital Dubai, Dr. Kantawala worked as an Assistant Professor of Radiology in 2011.
Dr. Hamza did his basic medical training from Cairo University, Egypt in 1988. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in December 2007. Prior to joining us, Dr. Hamza worked as a Consultant Radiologist at Alfascan Radiology Center, Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt since December 2003. Dr. Hamza has assisted us previously with several intermittent locum tenures.
Dr. Sonal Arjuna is American Board certified in Radiology (2011). Dr. Arjuna has special fellowship in women’s imaging from Columbia University Medical Center, New York, US (2012). She did her basic medical training in Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in 2000.
Dr. Arjuna has special interest in breast imaging including mammography and guided biopsies.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Arjuna worked, since 2012, as Consultant Radiologist at Fortis Memorial Research Hospital, Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
Dr. Dunia Abdelrahman is Danish Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiologist (2011). She did her basic medical training from Al Mustansiriya University, Iraq in 1996. Prior to joining us, Dr. Abdelrahman worked, since December 2014, as Teleradiology Specialist at TMC. Prior to that, she worked as a Specialist Radiologist at Rigshospital (The Royal Hospital), Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dr. Salima Shireen Ahmad did her basic medical training from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica in 1983. She completed her Fellowship from the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 1990. Prior to joining us, Dr. Ahmad worked as a Consultant Radiologist at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey, England since April 2000. She was appointed there as Consultant in Pediatric and Breast Imaging. From June 1999 to January 2000, she worked as a Locum Consultant Radiologist at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Swindon, England.
