Dr. Hubert K. Penninckx is a Specialist in Endocrinology and Diabetes and Belgium Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes.
Dr. Hubert Penninckx is a Fellow of the European Endocrine Society and Member of the European Association for the study of Diabetes. He was involved in many experimental trials in Europe and the US, with more than 20 years experience in the field.
Dr. Hanaa Zidan did her basic medical training from the University of Jordan Medical School, Jordan in 1998. She completed her US Board Certification in Pediatrics (2005) and Pediatric Endocrinology (2011). Prior to joining us, Dr. Zidan worked, since 2009, as a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit, MI, USA.
Dr. Shenaz Seedat is a Consultant Endocrinologist, certified with the Australian Medical Board. She undertook a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland Medical School, Australia and has a Fellowship in Endocrinology from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
She is highly experienced with over 15 years of post-graduate experience in clinical medicine, and has worked at reputed private and government hospitals in Australia, including Greenslopes Private Hospital, The Mater Public Hospitals and The Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Shenaz has earned a reputation as a highly-knowledgeable and compassionate clinician. She manages all endocrine-related diseases in adults, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and gonadal disorders, as well as menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis and weight management. Dr Shenaz has a keen interest in remaining up to date with the newest treatments and technologies to assist with the management of her patients.
Dr. Paul Aoun, with almost a decade of medical experience in the endocrinology field, joins American Hospital Dubai as Endocrinology Consultant.
Dr. Aoun’s medical journey started in Texas, where he completed his medical courses and also earned a Ph.D. in Neuro-endocrinology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He then relocated to Baltimore, Maryland to pursue an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University-Sinai Hospital Program and later completed a fellowship program in endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Aoun went on to work as a Clinical Endocrinologist at Palm Beach Diabetes & Endocrine Specialists in Florida for more than six years. He was an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Miami and has served in leadership positions at some notable institutions over the course of his career, such as Johns Hopkins University where he was a Chief Resident, the American Diabetes Association where he acted as President of the Palm Beach County board, and the American Health Council where he was recognized as a leader in his field.
Alongside his post as a consultant, Dr. Aoun continues to publish medical papers and textbook chapters and regularly partake in roundtable discussions and presentations on various endocrine topics, such as, diabetes care and prevention and thyroid disease.
Dr. Venkata Maheswara Reddy Katreddy. MBBS, FRCP Edinburgh, MRCP Endocrinology & Diabetes
Dr. Venkata Katreddy is a Specialist in Diabetes & Endocrinology with over 15 years of experience in the medical field.
Dr. Katreddy’s academic path first saw him earn his basic medical degree (MBBS) in the year 2000, before he continued his higher medical training in the United Kingdom where he earned his membership (MRCP UK). He continued his higher specialty training in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal medicine and was awarded Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2014 by General Medical council, UK. He is also among the few SCOPE (Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education) certified specialist endocrinologists in obesity management in the UAE.
Dr. Katreddy has worked as a Consultant Physician in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Obesity at University Hospital of North Midlands in United Kingdom for 5 years.
Apart from his busy clinical practice, he was instrumental in leading quality improvement projects to improve patient care and efficiency, many of which culminated as publications and presentations in peer reviewed journals and international conferences. He was awarded 1st prize for his project in Gestational Diabetes which was presented at the “Diabetes UK” National Conference in 2015. He was also instrumental in innovating the way bariatric surgery services were run in the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS trust in UK and was awarded a highly prestigious “Innovative team of the year” award in 2017.
Dr. Katreddy has experience in conducting clinical research and was Principle Investigator for commercial studies when he worked as consultant at North Midlands NHS trust, UK.
