Dr. Hesham Abd El-Latif did his basic medical training from Egypt in 1984. He then did his MRCS (Ed) in Accident and Emergency Medicine (2002). He is also ACLS (Advanced Cardiac life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced life support) certified.
Dr. Imad Fakhani is American Board Certified in Family Medicine (1998) and recertified in 2005. He is American Board eligible in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Fakhani is BLS, PALS, ATLS and ACLS certified.
Prior to joining American Hospital Dubai, he was working since August 2004 as Emergency Medicine Consultant at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. From 1997 – August 2004, he was working as an Attending Emergency Medicine Physician at Wesley Medical Center, Kansas, USA.
Dr. Bullard has about 18 years of experience in Emergency Medicine in Canada and the Bahamas. He did his postgraduate training and fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of Western Ontario, Canada and obtained the Fellowship, Royal College of Physicians of Canada FRCP (C) in 2004.
Dr. Bullard is a member of several international Societies such as the Canadian Association of Emergency Medicine, The American College of Emergency Medicine and the National Association of EMS Physicians.
Dr. Bullard is ATLS, PALS and APLS certified and an ACLS instructor. His basic medical training was from the University of West Indies. Prior to joining the American Hospital Dubai, Dr. Bullard was working at Princes Margaret Hospital, Bahamas as a consultant in Emergency Medicine. He was the Chief of Service of the Accident and Emergency Department at the same hospital.
Dr. Mueed Ahmed did his training in Emergency Medicine in UK and obtained the Fellowship of the College of Emergency Medicine (FCEM), London in 2009 and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCSEd) in the same year. He acquired his Certificate of Completion of Specialized Training (CCST) in 2010. Dr. Ahmed has special interest in Trauma, Ultrasound, Acute Medicine and Medical Education.
Dr. Ahmed is ATLS certified and he is ATLS instructor. He did his basic Medical Training in Pakistan. Prior to joining the American Hospital Dubai, he was working as a consultant Emergency Medicine Physician at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Manchester, UK.
Dr. Ahmed is an Examiner for Royal College of Emergency Medicine London. Instructor for ATLS, ALS Resuscitation Council UK.
Dr. Mohan Koppuravuri has a Fellowship from the College of Emergency Medicine (UK) in 2012. He has further obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2012. He did his basic medical training from Osmania Medical College, India in 2000.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Koppuravuri worked as Consultant in Emergency Department at Leighton Hospital, Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, UK since October 2012. He has also worked as a Consultant in Emergency Department at Harrogate District Hospital, UK.
Dr. Anser Mahmood obtained his Fellowship from the College of Emergency Medicine (FCEM), UK in 2012. He completed his CCST (Completion of Certificate of Specialist Training) in 2012. In 2008, he did his Masters from the College of Emergency Medicine (MCEM). His basic medical training is from Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan (2000). Prior to joining us, Dr. Mahmood worked, since 2013, as a Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary Wigan, UK. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as an Emergency Department Physician at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, UK.
Dr. Mahmood is an examiner for fellowship and membership exams for Royal College of emergency Medicine UK .Dr. Mahmood is instructor for ATLS for Royal College Of Surgeons UK and ALS instructor for Resuscitation council UK and he is also a Member of National Trauma Review Panel UK.
An ER Physician and Consultant with a medical education that saw him periodically rotate between General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics and Psychiatry, Dr. Derrick Darnel Moore has excelled in the Emergency Room for over 25 years.
Having started his career in his native Canada, Dr. Moore has practiced medicine in the four corners of the world, serving as an ER Physician and Consultant in worldwide medical institutions such as the King Fahad NG Hospital in Saudi Arabia, the Saipan Community Health Center in the Northern Marianas Islands and the Beijing Family United Hospital in China.
Alongside his hospital work, Dr. Moore operated a solo General Practice in Canada for five years where he provided medical services and assistance in Obstetrics, Surgical Assists, ER Shifts and Inpatient Care.
Dr. Moore joined humanitarian organization “Doctors without Borders” in 1996, practicing medicine in Afghanistan for five months. He has also amassed considerable teaching experience throughout his career, working as a consultant, teacher and coordinator in several hospitals across the world.
