Suryakanthi Chandrasekharan

Dr. Suryakanthi Chandrasekharan is a Pediatric Intensivist with clinical experience across leading Pediatric Intensive Care Units in Central and South India, UK, and Bahrain. She holds MBBS degree and DNB Pediatrics from India, where she also completed her Pediatric Intensive Care fellowship. This was followed by advanced training in Pediatric Intensive Care from Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, UK. She is registered with the GMC (General Medical Council, UK) and is a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child health (MRCPCH).
Dr. Chandrasekharan areas of expertise include Pediatric acute emergencies, Sepsis and hemodynamic management, Respiratory and Neuro-critical care, Trauma, Metabolic and Endocrine emergencies, as well as Hemato-oncological intensive care management. She is skilled in critical care procedures and the use of focused ultrasound in Intensive care. She has completed Basic and Advanced ECMO training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Additionally, she has received formal Bronchoscopy training through the European Respiratory Society workshop in Naples, Italy. She focuses on practicing evidence-based medicine as well as working with multi-disciplinary teams.
