Dr. Samina Afzal is a Consultant Pediatric Oncologist/ Hematologist at American Hospital, Dubai and has almost 20 years of extensive experience in Pediatric Oncology and Hematology. She has trained and worked in two top hospitals of the world including Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK and the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Toronto, Canada. In addition, she had an exclusive one-year fellowship in pediatric brain tumors in SickKids, Canada. Recently she was working at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, Dubai, where she dealt with tumors of various types. Prior to that Dr. Afzal worked as Consultant – Pediatric Oncology/Hematology at IWK Children’s Hospital, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada and Consultant – Pediatric Oncology at University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
