Rasha Alzuhairi

Dr. Rasha Alzuhairi is an Australian and UK Fellowship Certified Consultant Breast and Diagnostic Radiologist with sub-specialty training in breast imaging from Imperial College, Hammersmith, London, UK. Dr. Alzuhairi has professional expertise in all aspects of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomography, in addition to procedures guided by these modalities. She has also worked for the Queensland Breast Cancer Screening Program, which aims to specifically assess women at high risk of developing breast cancer, such as patients with strong family history and those positive gene mutations who require additional screening modalities. She served as National Examiner for the Royal Australian College of Radiologists for many years, and was a member of several medical imaging committees. She also supervised a junior consultant radiologist during their Breast Imaging training. Dr Alzuhairi received multiple professional awards from Queenlands Health and Dubai Health Authority for her contribution and role in Breast Cancer Screening program. She has many publications in the field of breast Cancer, including her Master thesis from Imperial College UK (the ability of 3D Doppler in differentiating benign and malignant breast conditions) and Clinical audit, to monitor the accuracy of MRI in differentiation of abnormal axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer patients. Dr. Alzuhairi is personally committed to her patients and is passionate about women’s health and preventative care.
