Assistant Director, Medical Imaging Department
Establishes, oversees and co-ordinates protocols and procedures for medical imaging diagnostic purposes and safe operation of facilities and the equipment. Supervises and trains the technologists in the respective specialties. In addition to Department’s Quality Assurance programme, responsible for planning and implementation of the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several units including Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Radiology, computer-assisted Tomography and Ultrasound as agreed with the Technical Director. Assists Technical Director with administrative duties, setting up staff work schedule and assigns equitable workload to employees in accordance with established department workflow as required and perform Medical Imaging examinations. Monitor environmental rounds in the Medical Imaging Department. Ability to manage the Department’s inventory (equipment and supplies).

  1. Graduate of an accredited School, University or Institution from where the qualification permits registration with the ARRT or its equivalent
  2. Current Registered Licensure in country of citizenship or professional practice.
  3. Knowledge of JCIA OR accreditation standards and QI/CQI/PI philosophy
  4. At least up to seven (7) years of recent Diagnostic experience, with current clinical experience of five (5) years in CT/MRI/Mammography and X-rays of which minimum three (3) years is desired in a supervisory/ managerial role
  5. Understanding of principles, methods, equipment and theory of the practice of different modalities in medical imaging department including good knowledge of radiation protection and MRI safety
  6. Scientific knowledge, technical competence and patient interaction skills to provide safe and accurate procedures with compassion
  7. Knowledge of regulatory practice requirements
  8. Knowledge and adherence to Code of Ethics and performance standards as outlined by the ARRT

Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist (Female Applicants)
The primary function is to perform all Ultrasound examinations within the units/clinics and the Medical Imaging Department of the American Hospital/Clinics.To be part of all procedures and processes that allow the Ultrasound division of the Medical Imaging Department, in providing a high standard of service and patient care by assessing,monitoring,participating and assisting in the daily administration duties, infection control /risk management, quality improvement and departmental/Hospital wide in-services.

  1. Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound/ Medical Imaging of Minimum three(3) years Course Duration
  2. Active home country registration from the concerned medical council
  3. DHA License/ DHA Eligibility holders must have positive Dataflow (PSV) report
  4. Applicant must have minimum of three (3) years experience in an all areas of Ultrasound Imaging e.g : General, Abdominal , Small parts, Ob/Gyn,Doppler,Vascular,Musculo-skeletal,Neonatal as well as Guided Biopsies/aspirations and Amniocentesis studies are required

Respiratory Therapist
To provide the cardiopulmonary clinical services to the neonatal, pediatric and adult patients in accordance with the diagnostic objectives established by the attending Physicians, the CPD Director, the CPD Medical Director, the Chief Operating Officer, the Pulmonary Consultants and the AHD / CPD Respiratory Care clinical guidelines and policy procedures. To competently perform a safe and therapeutic respiratory care services as clinically indicated for the all patients in order to achieve efficacious, accurate and quality results as per evidence based clinical guidelines and policy established by the department and the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) requirement. To provide a holistic and compassionate patient care, maintain patient advocacy and offer excellent customer service and professionalism

  1. A Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree Program in Respiratory Care from Asia with the accreditation from the Committee of Respiratory Care in North America or from the country of professional practice in respiratory care.
  2. A Minimum of two (2) years postgraduate clinical experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Respiratory Therapist.
  3. A minimum of two (2) years critical care experience in the neonatal and adult intensive care units and pediatric intensive care unit is preferred.
  4. An experience with basic Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and Respiratory Home Care Services is preferred.
  5. Current Home Country Registration from the concerned Medical council
  6. Must have valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from American Heart Association
  7. DHA/HAAD/MOH/ DHCC license holder must provide clear PSV report copy.

Occupational Therapist (Female applicants only)
Facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.

  1. Bachelor degree or Diploma from an accredited institution in Occupational Therapy minimum of three (3) years course duration.
  2. A least two (2) years experience post certification in the Occupational Therapy (Adult) Field

Physiotherapist (Female applicants only)
Conducts a functional assessment and physical evaluation of patients self referred or referred from a physician. Plans and administers physical therapy programs for patients to maximize function, relieve pain and prevent disability.

Anesthesia Technician
The Anesthetic Technician’s primary function is to assist with all anesthetic procedures and to maintain all related anesthetic equipment and keep documentation to support this. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of all anesthesia related equipment. Responsible for orienting, guiding new anesthetic technicians and nurses.

  1. Graduated/ Diploma from an Anesthetic technology course from an accredited educational institution, college or university.
  2. Current license to practice as Anesthesia Technician in home country.
  3. Minimum of three (3) years current experience as Anesthesia Technician
  4. BCLS required, ACLS desired

Radiographer
Independently performs all general and specialized Radiographic procedures. Mammography, Interventional Fluoroscopy Radiography and Portable Radiography, C-arm examinations in accordance with hospital and departmental guidelines. Performs procedures which include instructing and manipulating patients, selecting techniques and calibrating equipment to obtain high quality images. Reviews the request and previous studies before performing the examination. Works closely with the Radiologists to cater for all procedural needs and requirements Schedules patients for Imaging examinations if required. Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and arranges patient priorities to accommodate them in conjunction with Radiologist instructions. Observes radiation safety measures / protocols at all times. Perform any additional duties as required, administration duties assists with filing, clerical and scheduling wherever possible. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. Must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, human physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and X-ray technique. Possess, use and maintain knowledge about radiation protection and safety

  1. Knowledge of Middle Eastern customs is advantageous
  2. Graduate of an accredited School/ University or Institution from where the qualification permits registration with the ARRT or its equivalent.
  3. Current Registered Licensure in country of citizenship or professional practice
  4. DHA/MOH/HAAD license holders with Radiography Technologist title must have valid PSV report

Electrophysiology Cathlab Technician
The EP Catheter Laboratory Technician’s primary function is to scrub and record cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures for emergent and non-emergent cases. Utilizes their knowledge to care for patients throughout their procedure in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab. In addition to providing procedural care, is expected to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and communication among all caregivers.

  1. Diploma/Certificate in Cathlab of Minimum two (2) years Course Duration
  2. Active Home country registration from the concerned medical council
  3. Must have valid BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association
  4. DHA License/ DHA Eligibility holders must have valid Dataflow (PSV) report
  5. Applicant Must have minimum of three (3) years experience in an EP Lab with ability to work in Cath Lab.

Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Technician
The Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Technician’s primary function is to set up, run, manage and perform all duties related to the cardiac catheter laboratory. To maintain all related equipment and keep documentation to support this. Hemodynamic monitoring is a primary function:

Central Sterile Services Department Technician (CSSD Technician)
Responsible, under the direction of the CSSD Supervisor for cleaning, packaging and maintenance of surgical instruments as well as maintenance and cleanliness of the CSSD Department.

  1. Associate Degree in CSS technology of minimum Two (2) years course duration Two (2) years experience in the related field (OR)
  2. Certificate in any health related field with Certification as a member with one of the following:
    1. Certification by the Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) USA
    2. International Association of Healthcare Central Services Material management (IAHCSMM)
  3. DHA/MOH/HAAD license holders must have valid PSV report
  4. At least Two (2) years experience post certification in the CSSD field
